This is one of the most intense stretches for dancers feet. If you are just starting out with stretches, remember that this one should be worked up to.

For this stretch we recommend using a mat or towel so there is a layer under you for cushion. You will start sitting on your knees so both feet are under you. You want to really be sure to sitting all the way on your ankles so your feet are flat.

From here you will put your hands behind you to rock onto your feet slowly. The goal is to keep your ankles close and your heels together. Your weight should also be in your big toe. You should feel this stretch in the tops of your feet.
