Ballet expert, Deanna McBreaty, demonstrates a beginner combination for grande allegro.
You will begin in sus sous. To begin, you will test your balance by going into your passé. From there, you will tombe pas de bourreé to pull into sus sous. To finish, you will saute arabesque, saute passé and end in a low arabesque position.
While practicing this beginner grande allegro combination, it’s important to focus on leading with your heel, as well as presenting your upper body. Your upper body is just as important as your lower body!
