The combination begins in fifth position. You will do 8 dégagés to the front, to the side to the back and to the side again. Your arm will reverse the direction in which it moves every 4 dégagés.
You want to be aware of your heel leading and your toes gripping the floor. You want to maintain a strong torso and a lifted chest.
