In this tap dance how to, you will learn how to properly execute a shuffle from tap expert, Kaleena Miller. When doing a shuffle, you want to think about your knee leading the motion rather than your heel leading the motion. Think of you having a string coming out of your knee. You want to imagine picking up your knee with the string, then letting the knee go down as your foot stays relaxed and brushes out to pick back up. The movement should happen underneath and in front of you, rather than behind you.
