Ballet expert Deanna McBreaty demonstrates an advanced barre that incorporates the use of dancers développé.
Begin your développé by using your head, hand, and wrist towards the bar, before they go out with your développé. Bring everything back to a releveé passé so that you can find that clean passé position. You will repeat this on the side and the back.
You want to focus on connecting your développé to the passé quickly and allow your body to realign. You want to keep your tail tucked in, as if you were about to do a pirouette. Make sure you are leading with your knee as well.
