
Having strength in your feet is important for all styles of dance. This video will demonstrate one way to strengthen your feet.
Having strength in your feet is important to maintain the flexibility to have your foot point all the way through, as well as building the strength to point as far as you can on your own.
You will need a towel for this exercise. Lay the towel out in front of you and place your foot at the end of the towel with just your toes on the edge. From there you will clench the towel with your toes and pull the towel towards you under your heel. Continue to pick up the towel and pull towards you until the towel is no longer laying out.
This exercise should be done on both feet to equal them out.
