
Having great feet is an important part of being a dancer. If you weren’t blessed with beautiful feet, that’s okay!! You can easily fix that by doing some of these foot stretches.
This stretch is done by sitting on the floor with both feet in front of you. Point your feet as hard as you can, then push down with your hands.
To do each foot individually, reach out to your one foot and put pressure on the top of your feet to stretch your tendons. The goal is to keep a straight line from your leg to your ankle. Rather than crunching our feet up, we want to elongate our feet.
Be cautious that you’re not putting too much pressure on your foot. It is recommended to push on your foot for 10 seconds, then flex to allow the feet to relax and stretch back out.
