Apomal is one of the most important things that a dancer must have. Ballet expert, Deanna McBreaty, shows how to present to the audience. Apomal is how you extend the energy of your movement through your upper body. Projecting to your audience helps to give energy and life to your movement. Apomal should feel like your body is elongating. Your stomach should feel flat, ribs should be closed and neck should be lengthened. Think about having a string from the top of your head pulling you upwards.
